 Broke after two weeksJul 08, 2009
The SolarShield's temples taper to a very narrow width, which breaks very easily. The plastic there feels like very cheap plastic, like a disposable fork tine. I have had other glasses from this company and they worked well until I scratched them up too much.
This pair fit well over my priscription glasses and did a good job on the sun's glare. But again not very durable.

I got a pair from a neighbor who got them after eye surgery. I use them when boating/jetskiing. They shield the wind from drying my eyes, fit over my regular glasses, and are inexpensive so if I lose them in the water I don't mind. I have used my pair for 3 years and love them. A great alternative to expensive sun glasses.

These sunglasses are polarized unlike the solar shields I got at the drugstore. I really liked the fact that they came with a soft pouch to keep them in to prevent scratching. They really do a good job blocking out the bright light but I do have a problem seeing the dash in my car while wearing them.
