the peddlerMay 31, 2010 It is exactly what I needed to help with my arthritis in my knees and with my weight loss helper I can sit and peddle and not even know that I am exercising. the only problem is finding a chair that is level with the peddles! I have noticed that my knees are a little better and I am able to walk for short distances without too much discomfort and pain YaY! The only thing I do not like about this item is that the tension adjuster tends to losen when you are peddling

I'm working at my desk AND working out!Feb 11, 2010 I'm the typical former professional athlete that has gone to seed. After hard physical workouts most of my life, I now have an extremely sedentary job AND I'm burned out on working out. I've been struggling to find a way to get some exercise that I don't loath. On a whim I bought this little machine and I LOVE IT! I can work at my computer, and get some exercise at the same time. Now, will this replace an aerobics class, running, or some such workout? I doubt it. BUT for those of us struggling to get in ANY exercise, I think that it is going to be great. It's sitting RIGHT HERE under my desk...how can I just ignore it? The truth is that I don't have to. I don't have to change my clothes, put on workout shoes or anything. I just have to stick my feet onto the pedals and do it.
Also, my desk chair is a roller type that doesn't have "brakes", so as my chair starts to slide back a bit, I have to steady it with my arms and back...AN UPPER BODY WORKOUT! This also makes me have to use some torso for stability. WOW!!
I think that this is a GREAT little solution for me. And it isn't a huge $$ investment, either. I set it up in less that 3 minutes and am working out RIGHT NOW...AS I TYPE!!! I'm THRILLED.
